Trunk programs bring Belle Meade Plantation to the classroom for a fraction of the cost. An Educator from Belle Meade Plantation will bring a trunk into your classroom and present the program you choose from the list below. Traveling Trunk Program Options: In the Time of Slavery Everyday Life on the Frontier Everyday Life on the Plantation *Please contact the Education Department for more information. Program fee including Presentation: $50.00 per class rental fee + $3.00 per student (Note: all fees for Trunk Programs must be paid in full at least one week prior to program date.) Program length: 1 hour Grade level: K & up Teachers may also check out a trunk from our museum for a period of two-weeks to use at his/her convenience. When checking the trunk out, you must pick it up and drop it off in person, sign a rental agreement/contract upon checkout, and pay the rental fee. Program fee for classroom checkout: $50.00 Grade level: K & up
